Did you find the dog of your dreams? Sometimes you can find pure breds at shelters-also become a member of <oodle.com> they have both breeders and rescue dogs. Sometimes you find free registered dogs for one reason or the other. Some parts of the rust belt have over a 50% foreclosure rate and these people have to give up their dogs. They also post pics of the dog. I didn't reply sooner, but I was hoping that somebody would contact you. <petfinder.com> is a main site for dogs in shelters. Owners die and there are pure with papers or with out. I was able to get a free purebred Treeing Walker Coonhound. The handsome dude on the right is a little bluetick coonhound mix. Let me know how it works out.
