Best breed out there

I have a tri-color cavalier named Abbeybell and she is such a little princess. I find that this breed of dog is so loving and gentle they truelly are one of a kind. Through it all she is the one constant in my life. Do you find this valuable?

It's wonderful to read this about cavaliers--I'm in the process of talking to breeders about getting my first cavalier (either a tricolor or black and tan). I can't wait!
Do you know if there's much difference in temperament between the males and females? I've heard conflicting things about this.
