An easy way for us amateurs who don't have Paintshop Pro is to find those free banner makers out there.
Easy and dirty method but makes an OK Product.

DoggyGal will answer your question better than I. I think but don't quote me, Wetpaint created them for wikiFido.

I did use free badge creating software but WikiFido's badges look the same as the one wetpaint made and advertise! Do you find this valuable?
