I know they love me but it can be maddening sometimes. Keeping the girl off our bed at night was tough at first, we've broken her of that. Now if we can only keep the Beagle off! The big guy removed max from btween the 2 pillows every night since he came home as a puppy, he still cuddles there 30-40 pounds later but moves down with head on BG's ankle, then to the floor on his own. Princess is a laugh. She sleeps with us a bit but moves to the new couch cause shes a big girl, 60 pounds, and needs her space. Zedva prowls all night. Do you find this valuable? |

Dogs are worth more and are family. Couch is covered. Do you find this valuable? |

His temperment is the best. He's loving, extremely well socialized, great with children and other pets...adores cats...He's really very laid back - but he doesn't like to be bothered when he's sleeping at night - he will bark like mad if something disturbs him - but he's not a yappy dog. THE BEST little guy ever. We've only had larger dogs before - and pure breds - wouldn't switch this little guy for anything!

Of course when the granddaughter is her that's the only place he will sleep - right next to her face - go figure! Do you find this valuable? |

Does he get more gassy when your granddaughter visits? She could be slipping him snacks. Our kids did this. Do you find this valuable? |

He follows me from from room to room, and flops at my feet, or next to me or next to me. I love him to bits, as well as the girls, but he is my 40 pound baby and he knows it. He loves to be brushed and have his nails trimmed, by me, no less. During tick season, we check all of the dogs, toes up, nightly. Do you find this valuable? |

"Dogs & kids have a special relationship. "Yeah, my departed dog, chance, couldn't move around towrds his end, and would growl a warning if someone moved too fast towards him. He knew that he couldn't growl at our 5 year old granddaughter, trish, so chance would "snort at her" and she learned to be careful. Do you find this valuable? |

A change in diet and/or overeating does cause gas-dogs are like people-some people are more gassy than others. Another factor is that walking helps the digestive process-and perhaps the gassy spells are when your dog isn't moving around so much. It was hard when we first got them, as they were used to fresh meat-& Stonewall had a stomach parasite. Their stomachs would get used a brand of food, but they didn't like it. So we'd add a 1/4 cup of the new food & mix it in & increase it every 2-3 days-It took about 2 weeks to change over to something else they didn't like. We now feed them a dry mixed flavor-beef-poultry-sheep, etc. for big dogs-They love fish & sponges-I think that they caught lots of their food in marshes along the Rio Grande. No I don't feed them sponges-missy opens doors & drawers to get my sea sponges for art projects. We're really careful in cleaning up quickly when we eat fish.

We're still searching for a dog food that he likes and can tolerate. He only gets yogurt bits for treats. He's very closely monitored. Do you find this valuable? |

Our dogs try to eat other things also, Zeva tries to and occasionally will succeed in stealin roasts or sandwiches, once she stole a cube of butter, but could not open it before the BG retrieved it, with some negiotiations. that would have been more thyan gas lol Do you find this valuable? |

I cannot get over how cute he is! I cannot get any more dogs as 3 are enough and the others are way to big for a little dog. Do you find this valuable? |
