Healthy Older Dogs

It would be nice to have tips from readers on how to care for "senior" dogs. My 11 year old "greyhound/foxhound mix" is very lame from arthritis, but keeps on plugging happily away. I hear about various "treatments," but wonder what really works. Do you find this valuable?
