can i cut my elk hound hair or coat this time of year and if so how short. Do you find this valuable?

don't cut it! their type of fur insulates from cold and heat... just don't let them over do it when it's hot outside
if you think your elkhound is way too hot in the summer, try shaving the belly only.
Do you find this valuable?

You could do a longer puppy clip with a shaved belly and that would be ok, as always don't leave the dog out in very hot weather and provide clean drinking water. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

it's best not to cut an Elkhounds coat . just keep the dog out of hot sun and give plenty of water Do you find this valuable?
