Apr 11 2008, 10:10 AM EDT don't cut it! their type of fur insulates from cold and heat... just don't let them over do it when it's hot outside if you think your elkhound is way too hot in the summer, try shaving the belly only. Do you find this valuable? |

Apr 12 2008, 9:36 PM EDT You could do a longer puppy clip with a shaved belly and that would be ok, as always don't leave the dog out in very hot weather and provide clean drinking water. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
