tails are usually shorter
Aug 16 2007, 5:37 PM EDT I'm wondering how the lucky dog in this photo managed to escape the chopping block when it comes to the tail. I don't mean to sound harsh or anything, but I know Wheatens get their tails cut short when they're first born for the show ring. I don't understand why they do that because it seems cruel and pointless. Isn't the show ring supposed to show off a breed's qualities? When we got our Wheaten I didn't want her tail to be cut short, but it had already been done by the time we met her for the first time. Never-the-less she's a sweatheart, and I love hear dearly, I just wish her longer tail meant more in the show ring. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
